- Distribute invitational letters to the superintendents (DRAFT LETTER) for the Clinch River Symposium.
- Work on Mission and Vision Statement, Draft of letter to superintendents
- Extend the invitation for UVA Wise professors and other professionals to join the Clinch River Symposium.
- Next go around on Education Grant for Dominion is in April, possibility of $7,500
- Research possible key note speakers and activities for the August 7, 2012 Clinch Watershed Environmental Education Symposium
- Work on applying for grants to fund signage project
The Environmental Education Action Group would like to invite all educators in the Clinch River Valley to the Clinch River Symposium on August 7th, 2012. The symposium will include a keynote speaker and sessions on how to use environmental education to meet Virginia’s standards of learning.
