Next Steps:
- Planning a Town/County Government Summit to provide an update to leadership and stakeholders of the Clinch Project.
- Partnered with the UVA-Wise project called Entrepreneurship Blueprint to provide essential information to entrepreneurs.
- Developing a list of all existing businesses and business property that is for sale along the Clinch River,
- Shannon Blevins will work on the development of a database of current existing businesses along the Clinch.
- Develop a list of available buildings and property that could provide business space.
- Conduct an Entrepreneur One- on-One Assistance Workshop – provide follow up to those outdoor recreation outfitters who attended the Adventure Tourism Workshop. Discover where they are in the planning and implementation process of opening and operating their business.
- Create a connection with agencies who provide assistance with the entrepreneurs we know need help in the Clinch River Area.
- Host a Town/County Stakeholder meeting to introduce the Clinch River Project to elected officials and community stakeholders.
- The stakeholder meeting will include presentation from towns/counties, then examples of successful projects that created new economic impact.
